The Ladrillera Murciana does business with specific measures to respect the environment.

The waste generated properly stored, controlled and labeled before delivery to authorized agent.

In terms of air emissions, Murciana Ladrillera takes control of pollutants emitted in the drying and firing processes and measurement of dust emissions to the environment, being within the limits set by law.

It also has the authorization as potentially contaminating activity of the Atmosphere, issued by the Ministry of Environment of the Region of Murcia.

The Ladrillera Murciana, SA, is affected by the Kyoto Protocol, which involves careful monitoring of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, both originating in the production process as those from combustion processes.

In order to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, the company has made ??significant investments to greater use of biomass as fuel, with the consequent reduction in the use of fossil fuels such as fuel oil, more polluting power .

The factory also has a cogeneration plant that uses electricity and heat generated.

Ultimately, we aim to combine our manufacturing activities with respect to the environment, investing in technology and carrying out actions aimed at sustainable development.






In Ladrillera Murciana we are committed to the environment, so we develop actions aimed at promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy to strengthen a model of quality sustainability in our facilities.

For this we have proceeded to the renawall of lighting equipment by LED achieving the annual decrease of 60,85 tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

This action has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Region of Murcia.

Total investment: € 34,926.53

Total grant awarded: € 13,970.61 

Financing from the ERDF: € 11,176.49 

We have proceeded with the implementation of a frequency inverter in the brick extrusion motor instead of the starter, achieving an annual reduction of 55.13 tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

This action has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) an the Region of Murcia.

Total investment: € 21,950.

Subsidy granted: € 10,975.

Financing from the ERDF: € 8,780
